Rio Tinto is delighted to be part of the Shanghai World Expo 2010, as a platinum sponsor of the Australian pavilion. For Australia and for Rio Tinto, the pavilion provides an important window for the many millions of expected visitors, global and local alike. It will re ect a sense of who we are and what we do , some of which will be displayed on the Rio Tinto stage at the pavilion, which will be used by many creative and talented Australian performers. Having had business links with China for more than a century, we have always considered the formation of partnerships and close cultural and personal bonds to be integral to this engagement. We now look forward to the Shanghai World Expo 2010 assisting us to continue to build our partnerships with China and renew friendships, while showcasing our nation to the world.
